I was on a diet a few months ago, and I remember
progressing very slowly… I ate carefully and tried to
watch the calories. This past weekend, I felt lazy and
wolfed down everything in the pantry. I’m suddenly
a few pounds lighter. The weight loss was so quick.
(oh, and it was the same thing the next day)
Why is this?

Calories=energy. Energy=Increase Metabolism. Increase Metabolism=Weightloss!
It is better to eat 4-6 small meals a day, rather than 2-3 big ones. It is science! Feel free to contact me if you need more explanation.
do you exercise as well? when i was in cross country i ran 40ish miles a week and ate everything . . . but my metabolism was so fast from two workouts a day that it didnt matter. i was skinny. and fit.
maybe that is why.
did you drink enough water those days? if you didnt maybe its because you lost water weight. that weight will come back. i dont recommend not drinking though.
or maybe your metabolism just changed. that can happen.

I seem to not lose weight no matter how I eat.
Did you drink more? Do you eat more meals a day? I eat sooo much but found out that when I drink a lot of water with my meal and eat a lot (5 or 6)of (small) meals a day I have not gained any weight. I think if you keep your body working, and have a lot of fluids in your body, that I don’t gain any weight. I personally think that when you go on a diet your body thinks it is running out of food , so it starts to store some so that when (it thinks) you run out, you still have fat to burn. It is only my option, but it works for me. Hope I helped!
It seems to me after dieting for so long your metabolism reset. That depends on how active you are, and maybe, depending on the last time you weighed yourself, you may have just lost a lot of water weight.
